(a) Inspection. The Health Commissioner shall cause an inspection to be made of any premises in the City which he or she has good reason to believe is vermin or rat infested.
(b) Notice to Correct. If such premises are found to be vermin or rat-infested, a notice in writing bearing the date of issue and signed by the Health Commissioner, shall be served upon such owner or occupant. The notice shall state the conditions of such premises.
(c) Service of Notice. Any such notice may be served by any employee of the Health Department or Police, or may be served by depositing the notice, enclosed in a postpaid envelope and addressed to the person to be notified, in the post office.
(d) Compliance with Notice. After the owner, agent or occupant of any such premises has been so notified by the Health Commissioner that such premises are vermin or rat-infested, the owner, agent, or occupant shall take immediate measures to remedy the condition.
