1303.15 LIABILITY OF ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.
   The Safety Service Director, Property Maintenance Enforcement Officer, member of the Board of Property Maintenance Appeals or other employee charged with enforcement of this ordinance, while acting for the jurisdiction, in good faith and without malice in the discharge of the duties of this ordinance or other pertinent law or ordinance, shall not be rendered liable personally, and is relieved from all personal liability for any damage accruing to persons or property as a result of an act or by reason of an act or omission in the discharge of official duties. Any suit instituted against any City employee or appointee because of an act performed by that official in the lawful discharge of this ordinance shall be defended by the legal representative of the jurisdiction until the final termination of the proceedings; and said employee or appointee shall not be liable for costs in an action, suit or proceeding that is instituted relative to the provisions of the Maintenance Ordinances.
