129.07 REPLACEMENT CLERKS.
   (a)   The Safety-Service Director is authorized to appoint temporary replacement clerks, as needed, to work within any department of the City, in the event of the absence from work for any length of time of any full-time clerk employed by the City.
   (b)   Temporary replacement clerks appointed to work for the City shall be paid at a rate not to exceed the maximum rate for the position as defined by current pay ordinance and/or bargaining unit agreement.
