(a) In the event it shall be necessary to occupy, or otherwise make unusable, any marked parking spaces for purposes of construction, the general contractor shall pay to the City the amount of five dollars ($5.00) per day for such use. The spaces shall be marked by the City (if needed) and parking by the public therein shall be prohibited.
(b) Whoever violates this section and receives a parking ticket shall pay a fine of ten dollars ($10.00).
(c) If a parking ticket issued under this section is not paid within five days of the issue date, the fine is raised to twenty dollars ($20.00).
