(a) Any business may request to rent one or more parking spaces upon application to the Director of Safety-Service. The charge for such rental shall be five dollars ($5.00) per space per day and shall be limited to three spaces per request. Upon approval of the application, the spaces shall be marked and parking by the general public therein shall be prohibited.
(b) The Director of Safety-Service shall retain the right to reject any application for the rental of parking spaces.
(c) Whoever violates this section and receives a parking ticket shall pay a fine of ten dollars ($10.00).
(d) If a parking ticket issued under this section is not paid within five days of the issue date, the fine is raised to twenty dollars ($20.00).
