1158.07 PND PLANNED NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRICT.
The purpose of the Planned Neighborhood District is to encourage and provide for freedom of design and arrangement of dwelling units as an alternative to traditional single family developments by allowing integration of single family and low-to-medium density multiple family housing types. These uses shall integrate into the neighborhood by location, design and function, and be so designed to preserve the natural environment through good utilization of open space. Pedestrian access walks should, whenever feasible, connect to community facilities and public facilities such as schools and churches. Densities in the PND shall not exceed a maximum of four (4) dwelling units per net acre, unless otherwise provided in Chapter 1163, inclusive. Also one half (1/2) acre of green space shall be developed for each five (5) acres in the subdivision.
