(a) The following activities are prohibited in Ariel-Foundation Park: swimming, hunting, (except as part of a controlled hunt for Canada Geese authorized and regulated by the Safety-Service Director), trapping, ice skating and sledding. Motor vehicles are prohibited in areas other than designated parking lots and driveways. Only electric trolling motors may be used to power boats on any Ariel-Foundation Park lake; combustion engines are prohibited.
(b) As part of regulating a controlled hunt for Canada Geese in Ariel-Foundation Park, the Safety-Service Director may set the opening and closing hours and restrict access to some or all of Ariel-Foundation Park or any surrounding property owned by the City of Mount Vernon.
