783.06 LICENSE FEE.

   (a)   The application for such license or renewal thereof, shall be filed with the Clerk to the Council and shall be accompanied by the following fees:

      Five dollars ($5.00) for one to five units;

      Ten dollars ($10.00) for six to ten units;

      Fifteen dollars ($15.00) for eleven to fifteen units;

      Twenty dollars ($20.00) for sixteen to twenty units;

      Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for twenty-one to twenty-five units;

      Fifty dollars ($50.00) for twenty-six units or more.

   (b)   If the application is accepted and the license granted as hereinafter provided, such sum or sums shall be retained by the City as the annual license fee. For licenses granted between January 1 and July 1 of each year, the full annual fee shall be paid. For all licenses granted from July 1 to January 1, one-half of the annual fee shall be paid. All licenses shall expire at midnight on December 31 of each year, but may be renewed under the provisions of this chapter for additional periods of one year. No refund or rebate shall be made upon the licensee retiring from business and no license shall be sold or transferred to a new owner or proprietor; and such licenses so granted shall be valid only for the location specified in the application for such licenses.
