(A) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation within the city to engage in the cleaning of septic tanks for pay or hire without first obtaining an annual license therefor from the City Clerk/Treasurer and paying the required fee thereon as herein provided.
(B) The annual license fee as required in division (A) above shall be $50, payable in advance.
(C) All revenue received from the payment of license fees required by this section shall be paid into and become a part of the General Fund.
(D) This section shall no apply to owners of real property within the city on which septic tanks are located when the cleaning operation is performed by the owners or their employees.
(E) Any person, firm, or corporation violating the provisions of this section by failing to obtain the license and pay the fee as herein provided shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined as set forth in § 110.99. Each septic tank so cleaned shall constitute a separate offense.
(F) Nothing in this section shall be construed to exempt any person, firm, or corporation so licensed from all reasonable regulations of such business that may be now in effect or hereafter provided for by ordinance.
