§ 110.99  PENALTY.
   If any person, firm, or corporation shall operate or carry on any business, occupation, calling, or profession, or do any act for which a license is required under this chapter without first having obtained a license to do so, then such a person, firm, or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than thirty seven dollars and fifty cents ($37.50) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100) for each offense.  Each sale or act in such business, occupation, calling, or profession shall constitute a separate offense.
