All trucks or vehicles upon which a license is charged or used in the licensed business under this chapter shall bear a tag, plate, license or sticker to be furnished by the city at the time the license is paid and upon the failure of any person, firm or corporation to firmly secure said tag, plate, license, or sticker in a conspicuous place on the vehicle for which the license is issued or used in the licensed business and retain it there permanently for the period for which it was issued, said person, firm, or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined as set forth in § 110.99.
