§ 33.151 AUTHORITY DURING EMERGENCY OR DISASTER.
   If, in time of emergency or disaster, the Mayor is unavailable or unable to act as Chief Executive Officer of the city, the following persons shall have such authority in the following order:
   (A)   The member of the Common Council, if any, appointed by the Mayor pursuant to I.C. 36-4-5-8 as the same may be amended.
   (B)   If the Mayor has not made such an appointment or if such person is unavailable to serve for any reason, then:
      (1)   The member of the Board of Public Works and Safety who has the longest service on that Board, including nonconsecutive terms, if any, but if that person is unable to serve; then
      (2)   The remaining member of the Board of Public Works and Safety, but if he is unable to serve; then
      (3)   The ALERT Coordinator.
