§ 97.17 REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   Repairs and replacements. Every owner or occupant of any house or other building, and any owner of any vacant lot within the city, shall maintain and keep the sidewalks in front of such house, building or vacant lot in good repair. Replacement of a damaged or defective sidewalk shall be the responsibility of the owner or occupant of any house or other building or the owner of any vacant lot within the city.
   (B)   Penalty. Any person or entity neglecting or refusing to comply with the provisions of this section, or neglecting or refusing to put the sidewalk in front of any house, building or vacant lot owned or occupied by him or her in repair after having received notice from the Building Commissioner to do so, shall be subject to general penalty provisions of this code in § 97.99.
