§ 97.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be fined not more than $200 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.
   (B)   Whoever violates any provision of §§ 97.01, 97.02, 97.04 through 97.15 shall be fined not more than $300 and costs. Each day any such violation shall occur shall constitute a separate offense.

   (C)   (1)   Any person, firm, or corporation in violation of any provision of §§ 97.25 through 97.33 shall be fined not more than $2,500 for each offense.
      (2)   A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues on each separate cut or excavation.
      (3)   No new permits shall be issued to any person, firm, or corporation who has an unpaid bill for failure to repair a cut or excavation or an unpaid fine for failure to comply with imposed requirements.

   (D)   Whoever violates any provision of § 97.16 shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $50.00 for the first offense and a fine not to exceed $250.00 for each subsequent offense during a festival or celebration.
