(A) Pursuant to I.C. 5-2-8-2, there is established in the city a Law Enforcement Continuing Education Program for use by its law enforcement agency.
(B) Pursuant to I.C. 5-2-8-2, there is established a Law Enforcement Continuing Education (LECE) Fund, and funds collected by the law enforcement agency from the Local User Fee Fund, established by I.C. 33-19-8-1 et seq., shall be deposited into the Local Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund to fund the Law Enforcement Continuing Education Program and training of officers, and for equipment and supplies for law enforcement purposes.
(C) Distribution of money in a local Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund shall be made to a city law enforcement agency without the necessity of first obtaining an appropriation.
