Handgun license application fees received by the Police Department which were previously deposited into the Firearms Training Fund, shall now be deposited with and receipted by the Clerk-Treasurer and held in the Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund for refund to unsuccessful applicants as required by statute and for use by the Police Department for firearms training and other appropriate training activities.
