The standards for public swimming pool and spa are amended as follows:
(A) Permit required. A permit shall be required to operate a public swimming pool within the limits of the city. Inspections of such swimming pool shall be made at least one time annually to confirm compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. The fee for such permit shall be $125.00.
(B) General requirements.
(1) All public pools shall be equipped with a filtration system large enough to completely circulate the water at least once every six hours (eight hours for pools built before October 1, 1999);
(2) All pools shall be equipped with a chlorine, bromine, or approved disinfection system;
(3) Adequate provision for drainage shall be made to drain the pool into the sanitary sewer system of the city.
