§ 95.20 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BRUSH. Tree trimmings, weeds, hedge trimmings, trees not exceeding eight inches in diameter, brush, or brush piles.
   GARBAGE. Any and all waste food, waste from the handling, preparation, cooking, or consumption of foods, including waste material from markets, storage facilities, handling and sale of produce and other food products. The term GARBAGE also means mixtures of animal or vegetable wastes with rubbish.
   LITTER. See RUBBISH/LITTER.
   OCCUPANT. The individual, person, partnership, or corporation that uses or occupies any building or part or fraction thereof, whether the actual owner or tenant. In the case of vacant buildings or vacant portions thereof, the owner, agent, or custodian shall have the responsibility as occupant.
   OUTDOOR FURNITURE. A type of furniture specifically designed for outdoor use, typically made of weather resistant materials such as weather resistant fabrics, wood, and aluminum which does not rust.
   OWNER. The actual owner, agent, or custodian of a building or property, whether individual, partnership, or corporation. The lessee may be construed as the owner for the purposes of this subchapter when building agreements hold the lessee responsible for maintenance and repairs.
   PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company, or organization of any kind.
   REFUSE. All decayable and non-decayable solid waste (except body waste), including garbage, rubbish, and trash.
   RUBBISH/LITTER. Garbage, refuse, and rubbish as defined herein, and any other material which, if thrown, deposited, or discarded as prohibited, tends to be unsightly, creates a nuisance or danger to public health, safety, or welfare. Decayable, non-decayable, combustible, and non-combustible waste that may consist of, but is not limited to, animal or vegetable waste, waste paper, magazines, paper, rags, cartons, tree branches, tree trunks, roots, wood, furniture, rubber, plastics, yard trimmings, leaves, glass, mattresses, crockery, tin or aluminum cans, metal, discarded or worn-out manufactured materials or machinery, inoperable motor vehicles or parts of motor vehicles, tires, building or construction materials, discarded furniture, appliances, scrap metals, or similar items.
