§ 93.22 TESTING OF WATER.
   Prior to the use of water from any well or cistern within the municipality, the owner or occupant of the premises on which such well or cistern is located, or someone contemplating the use of such water, shall furnish samples of water taken from well or cistern to a chemist and bacteriologist specified by the State Department of Health and Environmental Control, to be analyzed for both chemical and bacteria contents, and a written report of the findings to be provided to the person furnishing such samples. If the findings of such chemist disclose that the water meets the chemical and bacteria criteria for potable water, as established by the State Department of Health and Environmental Control, use of water from such well or cistern shall be permitted.
