§ 93.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be subject to the penalty in § 10.99.
   (B)   (1)   If any property owner fails to keep such property cleared, it shall be considered a violation of § 93.07 and declared to be a misdemeanor under the laws of the state, and upon conviction thereof, an offender shall be liable to a fine of not more than $500, or imprisoned not exceeding 30 days, or both. However, no penalty shall exceed the penalty provided by state law for similar offenses. Each day such violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense. When the provisions of any other statute require more restrictive standards than are required by the regulations of this chapter, the provisions of such statute shall govern.

      (2)   Any property owner or lessee who fails to reimburse the municipality within 30 days after the municipality has followed through with division (B)(1), shall be subject to a fine of $500 or 30 days in jail for each day the payment is in arrears, if found guilty of this misdemeanor in the municipal court. However, no penalty shall exceed the penalty provided by state law for similar offenses.
