§ 51.011 DUTY OF PAVING OR OTHER CONTRACTORS AS TO VALVES, VALVE BOXES, FIRE HYDRANTS, MANHOLES, AND OTHER APPURTENANCES.
   It shall be unlawful for any person or contractor, who may pave any streets or sidewalks or perform other work in the town, to destroy, remove or obliterate, by burying or covering up, any of the valves, valve boxes, hydrants, curb stop valves, meter boxes, manholes, or any other similar property, belonging to, owned, or controlled by the town or the Commission. It shall be the duty of any such paving or other contractors, to obtain from the Commission the exact location in such streets of all valves, valve boxes, hydrants, curb stop boxes, and meter boxes in order to avoid paving over or otherwise damaging valves, valve boxes, hydrants, manholes, and other appurtenances.
