When at the discretion of the Fire Code Official plans and specifications are required to be reviewed by an outside consultant, the person or firm submitting the plans and specifications shall be responsible for the total consulting fees plus a 10% administrative charge. The Fire Code Official shall select the consultant. Consulting fees or charges shall be paid to the city by the applicant before the review will be undertaken.
