(A) The granting of a split under this chapter does not ensure compliance with any other city ordinances or State of Michigan statutes.
(B) To the extent permitted by law, any parcel created in noncompliance with this chapter shall not be eligible for any building permits, or zoning approvals, such as special land use approval or site plan approval. In addition, violation of this chapter shall subject the violator to the penalties and enforcement action set forth in § 155.99, and as may otherwise be provided by law.
