§ 98.37 SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL FROM SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   For the purposes of this section, OWNER means an owner, owners, occupant, or occupants of real property.
   (B)   The owner of every property within the city must clear any accumulation of ice or snow from the public sidewalks adjoining such property within 24 hours of the accumulation or placement of snow or ice on said sidewalks.
   (C)    If a sidewalk is not cleared within 24 hours of the accumulation or placement of snow or ice, the city may issue the owner a civil infraction ticket that is a personal debt owed to the city for each day that the owner fails to clear the sidewalk, or the city may clear the sidewalk and impose a lien on the property for the cost of clearing the sidewalk. The City Commission must set the civil infraction fees and the amount of any lien under this division by resolution.
