§ 52.08 FIRE PREVENTION CONNECTIONS.
   The owner or occupant of any building desiring to install large pipes with hydrant and hose couplings to be used only in case of fire, will be permitted to make connection with the street main at its own expense upon application to the Director of Public Works. Maintenance of all fire hydrants within the city is the responsibility of the city water department. The owner of fire hydrants located on non-city owned water mains shall pay the city for the maintenance cost of their hydrants. The applicant shall pay all charges for the hydrant installation and maintenance as prescribed by the Commission and such connection shall be made in accordance with the specifications of the Director of Public Works.
