1-7-12: TERMINATION OF OFFICE:
Every officer and employee of the Village, upon the expiration of his term for any cause whatsoever, shall deliver to his successor all books and records which may be the property of the Village, and if no successor has been appointed within one (1) week after the termination of his office, such property shall be delivered either to the Village Clerk or the Village Treasurer. (1979 Code § 1-7-12)
