§ 76.03 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CERTIFIED GOLF CART ROADS. Those roads defined in § 76.06 below.
   GOLF CART. A vehicle designed and manufactured for operation on a golf course for sporting or recreational purposes and that is not capable of exceeding speeds of 20 mph, as defined by G.S. § 20- 4.01(12b).
   OPERATE. To drive, or to be in physical control of a golf cart that is moving or has its engine on.
