There is hereby created a zone within the four block area of the intersections of North and South Main Streets and East and West Main Streets within the village wherein the following regulations shall apply to skateboards, bicycles and in-line skates.
(A) Activity prohibited. No skateboards, bicycles or in-line skates shall be ridden upon the sidewalks of North and South Main Streets and East and West Main Streets for the distance of one block from the center of the intersection of said roadways.
(B) Signs. Signs designating no skateboards, bicycles or in-line skates on sidewalks shall be placed at the end of said one block area.
(C) Operating skateboards and the like. No person shall operate a skateboard or in-line skates either on the roadway or on the sidewalks within the limits of this zone inside the four block area where signs are posted.
(D) Operating bicycles. No person shall operate a bicycle in the zone except that the same may be operated on the streets in conformity with state law.
(E) Walking bicycles. The operation of a bicycle shall consist of riding the same and this shall in no way be construed to restrict individuals from walking bicycles within this zone.
