(A) Within 72 hours of receiving a § 2950.11 notice, the Police Department shall deliver a copy of the notice to the occupant of each residential dwelling unit, commercial or other unit on both sides of the street for three blocks in each direction of the address of the residence of the sexual predator or habitual sex offender as the said address is set forth in the notice. The notice shall also be delivered within any additional geographical area or areas adopted by the Ohio Attorney General. Such delivery may be accomplished by hand carrying and/or by mailing a copy to, or conspicuously posting a copy at each such dwelling, commercial or other unit.
(B) A copy of any such notice shall be incorporated into the city's weekly crime report and forwarded to the newspaper which normally publishes the said report with a written request that the said notice be published in its entirety with the report.
(C) Nothing herein shall be construed to create any liability on the part of the city or its employees and agents in any civil action to recover damages for injury, death, or loss to person or property allegedly caused by any act or omission relating to this section.
