For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ALLOW. To permit or to neglect to restrain or prevent.
EMERGENCY. An unforeseen combination of circumstances or the resulting state that calls for immediate action. The term includes, but is not limited to, a fire, natural disaster, or automobile accident, or any situation requiring immediate action to prevent serious bodily injury or loss of life.
MINOR. Any person under the age of 18 who is unemancipated.
PARENT. Any person having legal custody of a juvenile as a natural or adoptive parent, as a legal guardian, as a person who stands in loco parentis, or as a person to whom legal custody has been given by court order.
PUBLIC PLACE. Any street, alley, highway, sidewalk, park, playground, or place to which the general public has access and a right to resort for any lawful purpose, or any business establishment, including but not limited to any store, shop, restaurant, tavern, bowling alley, café, theater, drugstore, pool room, shopping center and any other place devoted to amusement or entertainment of the general public.
