§ 32.095 OFFENDER MAY BE CONFINED UNTIL FINE PAID.
   When a fine is the whole or part of a sentence, the Mayor’s Court may order the person sentenced to remain confined in the county jail, workhouse, or prison of the municipal corporation, until the fine is paid, or secured to be paid, or the offender is legally discharged. Such confinement shall accrue at a basis of $30 per day or per fractional day toward satisfying such fine as assessed.
