§ 74.391 USE OF ENGINE BRAKES PROHIBITED.
   (A)   The non-emergency use of engine brakes within the city limits is prohibited.
   (B)   As used in this ordinance, ENGINE BRAKES shall be defined to include but is not limited to Jake Brakes, Jacobs Brakes, C Brakes, Tek Brakes, and any other type of engine retarders commonly used within the trucking industry.
   (C)   This section does not apply to emergency vehicles operated by fire, police or military units.
   (D)   Whoever violates this ordinance is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
