As used in this chapter:
(a) "Manufactured home" is defined as a structure that is built completely or partially off-site, which may or may not comply with either local or State building codes. This type of structure will bear a label certifying that it is built in compliance with the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974, established and administered by the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for manufactured homes, which became effective on June 15, 1976.
(b) "Mobile home" is defined as a transportable, factory-built, single-family structure designed to be used as a year-round residential dwelling.
(c) "Modular home" is defined as a structure that is built completely or partially off-site which may or may not comply with either local or State building codes. This type of structure will bear a label certifying that it is built in compliance with the National Manufactured Housing Construction Safety Standards Act of 1974, established and administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for manufactured homes, which became effective on June 15, 1976.
