Storm sewers shall be constructed of the following materials, unless otherwise approved by the Village:
(a) Mains and Laterals.
(1) Reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) (ASTM C-76) for sizes greater than 15 inches in diameter or N-12 Dual Wall Pipe. Strength design as required.
(2) Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe (ASMT D-3034; SDR 26), reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) (ASTM C-76), or N-12 Dual Walled pipe for sizes 15 inches in diameter and below.
(3) All pipe to have premium water-tight gasket joints.
(b) Driveway culverts.
(1) Reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) (ASTM C-76), corrugated polyethylene smooth interior pipe (AASHTO M-294, Type S), corrugated metal pipe (AASHTO M-36).
(2) Concrete headwalls may be required.
(c) Roadway culverts.
(1) Reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) (ASTM C-76), reinforced concrete elliptical pipe (ASTM C-507), precast reinforced concrete box culverts (ASTM C-789, C-850), precast three-sided flat- topped culverts, precast reinforced concrete arch culverts, poured in place reinforced concrete culverts. Structural design as required.
(2) Concrete headwalls will be required.
