(a) Each full-time employee shall be entitled to eleven paid holidays per calendar year: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
(b) When the holiday falls on Saturday, it will usually be taken by employees on the preceding Friday. When the holiday falls on Sunday, it will usually be taken on the following Monday.
(c) Full-time employees shall receive eight hours of pay for each holiday regardless of the employee's work shift and work schedule. Full-time employees, who work on a holiday shall receive, in addition to their regular pay, overtime pay of one and one-half their regular pay.
(d) All matters concerning holidays not otherwise covered by these Codified Ordinances and general law shall be determined by the Village Administrator.
