(a) Paid vacations for hourly wage employees, including those salaried employees paid for extra work by hourly rate, are hereby established as follows:
(1) Full time employees of the Village for the following periods of time shall be entitled to the below scheduled vacations per calendar year in accordance with their hourly wages, computed on the basis of their work week and hourly wages as follows:
Years of employment Vacation Entitlement
After completing 1 year 2 weeks/10 days
After completing 8 years 3 weeks/15 days
After completing 15 years 4 weeks/20 days
After completing 20 years 5 weeks/25 days
(b) All matters concerning vacations not otherwise covered by ordinance, Village Personnel Policy, or general law shall be determined by the Village Administrator.
(c) Upon retirement, vacation days will be paid out for days that have been earned from January 1st through retirement day within the same year. Village employees who have retired and been rehired by the Village will not be eligible for accumulated vacation day pay-out.
