139.10 RETIRING OFFICERS MAY PURCHASE DUTY WEAPONS.

The Chief of Police is authorized to sell a retiring officer's duty weapon for one dollar ($1.00). The retiring officer must have served a minimum of 15 years with the department. He or she must not have any record of domestic violence or mental health issues.
