139.09 AUXILIARY POLICE UNIT.

(a) An Auxiliary Police Unit shall exist within the Police Department, with the Police Chief as executive head, in accordance with Ohio R.C. 737.161 and other applicable law.

(b) The Auxiliary Police Unit is a voluntary organization and its members shall receive no compensation for serving, except that such officers shall receive uniforms and equipment.
