139.02 CAPTAIN.

A captain may be appointed to assist the Police Chief with his or her duties and to serve as temporary Police Chief when the Police Chief is incapacitated or absent from the Village. This position may be combined with that of a patrol officer. The captain will serve a six-month probationary period.
