(a) The Mayor may appoint a qualified Magistrate to conduct Mayor's Court, who shall meet the educational requirements of Mayor's Court Rule 3, Mayor's Court Education and Procedure Rules.
(b) A Mayor's Court Magistrate appointed by the Mayor pursuant to Ohio R.C. 1905.05 shall be compensated annually in an amount set by ordinance from time to time.
