The City Clerk, Recreation Superintendent, Parks Superintendent, or his/her designee may summarily suspend, or revoke permission issued under this chapter for a violation of any provision of this chapter, for violation by the applicant of any Federal, State or local laws or ordinances during the special event, for a violation of the conditions stated or for making any material false representation in an application for approval or an exemption certificate. In deciding whether to suspend or revoke permission, the City Clerk, Recreation Superintendent, Parks Superintendent, or his/her designee may consult with other relevant members of the City staff. In the event of a suspension or revocation, the appeal provisions above shall apply, commencing upon the date of the suspension or revocation notice. (Ord. 1708, 12-28-2020)
