Open structures which are covered, such as porches, decks, canopies, balconies, platforms, carports, patios, chimney chase and similar architectural projections, shall be considered parts of the building to which they are attached and not project into the required minimum front, side or rear yard. Covered structures shall be counted as lot coverage. Architectural projections without a cover/roof shall meet the setback requirements but shall not be counted as lot coverage.
Eaves may not project into any required setback more than two feet (2'). (Ord. 1628, 1-12-2015)
