10-1-18: MUNICIPAL FIBER INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN STANDARDS:
All required municipal fiber infrastructure shall meet the following requirements:
   A.   Conduit Requirements: All conduit shall be smooth wall with internal ribbing and meet or exceed the following specifications: ASTM F-2160, ASTM D-3350, ASTM D-2239, ASTM D-3485, NEMA TC-7, UL 651, UL 1990, and Bellcore GR-365.
      1.   Main Line Conduit: Shall be 1.25' Orange conduit AND provide identification it is owned by the City of Mountain Home. The conduit shall be purchased and provided by the developer.
      2.   Curbside to Homes/Dwelling Units/Tenants: Shall be ¾’ Orange conduit AND provide identification it is owned by the City of Mountain Home. The conduit shall be purchased and provided by the developer.
   B.   Hand Hole And Vault Requirements: All Hand Hole boxes shall be:
      1.   Hand Hole: All Hand Holes shall meet the following standards:
         a.   Constructed of High Density Poly Ethylene;
         b.   Rectangle in shape;
         c.   Size Dimensions: 17" (L) x 30" (W), 18" Deep.
      2.   Vaults: All Vaults shall meet the following standards:
         a.   Constructed of Polymer Concrete;
         b.   Rectangle in shape;
         c.   Size Dimensions: 30" (L) x 48" (W), 24" Deep.
      3.   Design Deviations: The Director has the authority and discretion to approve deviations from the design standards detailed in this section. (Ord. 1786, 9-26-2023)
