§ 51.061 DELINQUENT BILLS; LIEN.
   In the event a water or sewer bill is unpaid by the due date, a reminder notice shall be sent to the customer. If payment in full is not received by the city within ten days after the reminder notice is sent, the bill shall be considered delinquent, and the service may be discontinued as provided in § 51.008 of this chapter and the Council may cause the charges noted in the billing to become a lien against the property served by certifying to the county the amount of the delinquent bill.
