§ 70.16 TIME-LIMITED PARKING.
   It shall be a class C misdemeanor for any person to park or leave standing on any public road, street or any county property any vehicle, to include any farm tractor or farm implements which may be transported or drawn on a public road, for 48 or more consecutive hours. Any vehicle so parked or left standing may be impounded or removed by any law enforcement officer of the state. For purposes of impoundment and removal, the law enforcement officer may, after making a reasonable effort to locate the owner, remove and impound such vehicle with the costs of removal and impoundment to be charged to the owner of the affected vehicle, or to any person who claims such vehicle.
