(A) The Monroe Township Fire District is hereby established.
(B) Said Monroe Township Fire District shall be co-extensive with and have the same legal boundaries of Monroe Township, Morgan County, Indiana (to include the Town of Lake Hart).
(C) Said Monroe Township Fire District is established in accordance with I.C. 36-8-11 and shall have all rights, powers, duties, authority and responsibility as authorized under I.C. 36-8-11-15.
(D) There shall be five trustees in said Fire District whose initial appointments and expiration dates shall be as follows:
(1) One trustee whose term expires first Monday in January 1995;
(2) One trustee whose term expires first Monday in January 1996;
(3) One trustee whose term expires first Monday in January 1997;
(4) One trustee whose term expires first Monday in January 1998; and
(5) One trustee whose term expires first Monday in January 1998.
(E) Said Board of Trustees shall prepare a budget for the fiscal year of 1995 and submit such a budget, as by law provided.
(F) The Board of Commissioners of the county shall be entitled to make appointments of trustees to such Board in event any vacancy occurs.
