For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COUNTY HIGHWAY OR COUNTY ROAD. Any public right-of-way under the jurisdiction of Morgan County, Indiana. This does not include public rights-of-way under the jurisdiction of the State of Indiana and the Indiana Department of Transportation ("INDOT") as well as public rights-of-way under the jurisdiction of the incorporated cities or towns located within Morgan County. For the purposes of this chapter, county highway and county road are synonymous.
DRIVER'S LICENSE. A license valid for the operation of a motor vehicle on public roads and
highways in the State of Indiana, whether issued by Indiana or another state.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. Liability insurance coverage on a golf cart in an amount not less than required by Indiana law for motor vehicles operated on public highways in the State of Indiana.
GOLF CART. A four wheeled motor vehicle originally and specifically designed and intended to transport one or more individuals and/or golf clubs for the purpose of playing the game of golf on a golf course.
