§ 152.01 REQUIREMENTS FOR PLAT APPROVAL AND RECORDATION.
   No subdivision plat shall be approved by the Morgan County Plan Commission, Mooresville Town Board, Martinsville Plan Commission or other competent authority nor shall such plat be accepted for recordation by the County Recorder if it does not fulfill the following requirements:
   (A)   An original drawing shall be prepared for all such subdivision plats.
   (B)   After approval by the County Plan Commission and reviewed by the County Surveyor the original plat will be delivered to the County Auditor for transfer to the County Recorder for recordation. The County Recorder will have a fixed line projection Mylar made and this copy will be retained by the County Recorder. The original will be returned once this procedure is completed. The same procedure applies to re-recorded, amended, corrective plats and includes planned unit development plats, condominiums and similar developments.
   (C)   A fee of $25 in addition to the cost of recording will be charged for this service.
   (D)   No blueprint copy of any such plat shall be accepted by the County Recorder’s office.
   (E)   The original shall be drawn with permanent ink.
   (F)   The plat shall be drawn on a scale no smaller than 100 feet to one inch.
   (G)   The original shall be presented to the Recorder on sheets not to exceed 24 inches by 36 inches and no reduction will be accepted.
   (H)   All signatures must have the printed or typed names beneath the signatures.
   (I)   Plat must be notarized.
   (J)   All other requirements for recording a plat shall be met before the plat can be recorded.
