(A) The purpose of this chapter shall be to set standards for house and other structure numbering and road naming in the county, and to establish the authority and methods to be used when assigning addresses to properties in the county.
(B) These standards shall be used to establish residence locations which will be used in the implementation of an Enhanced 911 Emergency Response System in the county. It is intended to provide continuity, avoid duplication and prevent general confusion regarding the location of developed parcels of land in the county.
