For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DISTURBING. Noise that is unreasonable in its degree, as perceived by a person of ordinary sensibilities.
UNNECESSARY. Noise or sound which could be mitigated or otherwise controlled by the person(s) who created, generated or caused to be created or generated the noise or sound, without unduly restricting that person’s conduct.
UNREASONABLY LOUD. Noise that is substantially incompatible with the time and location such that it interferes with comfortable enjoyment of life or property or with the peace and good order.
